Ridge Hill Westchester is a multipurpose lifestyle center located between Interstate 87 and Sprain Brook Parkway in Yonkers, New York. With the opening in 2011, Bukit Ridge Westchester has a variety of retail stores, restaurants, condominiums, and offices. The plan was originally started in 2000 by the Yonkers Industrial Development Agency, which sought to develop a site to stimulate job growth. Before any development, the land was occupied by sanitariums, hospitals, churches, and rehabilitation centers. After subsequently providing lease to Lockheed Martin, and when the lack of work continues, the lease terminates by buying the remainder of the contract. The town of Yonkers began taking bids from developers, and Ridge Hill won the contract. The original tenants announced include Whole Foods Market and L.L.Bean. Saks Fifth Avenue also showed interest in adding locations in Yonkers.
In early 2007, the land was opened for the construction of Ridge Hill. Construction officially broke on November 8, 2007, with the original projected completion date in 2009. However, at the end of 2009, Forest City stated that due to the economic recession, the settlement is expected to be pushed back to 2011.
On November 18, 2010, it was announced that six additional companies would join the list of tenants: Dick's Sporting Goods, Brio Tuscan Grille, and REI. Then, on December 3, it was announced that God & amp; Taylor will anchor the Bukit Westchester Hills with an area of ​​80,000 square feet (7,400m 2 ). It is God & amp; Taylor will be built since 2001. That same year, Saks Fifth Avenue stated that they will not add locations in Ridge Hill.
On March 26, 2013, the new Legoland Legacy Center for $ 12 million, 32,300 square feet (3,000m 2 ) opened. It was the first Legoland in the Northeast and fifth in the country.
On November 19, 2014, it was announced that eight stores will arrive at Ridge Hill including Starbucks and The Container Store.
