Music and Outdoor Arts Festival is a music festival held annually in San Francisco, California, at Golden Gate Park. The first edition takes place from August 22-24, 2008, and includes over 60 musical performances from around the world, as well as some art installations. The festival locations include Polo Fields (home to Lands End Stage), Hellman's Hollow/Speedway Meadow (Twin Peaks and Panhandle stages), and Lindley Meadow (Sutro and Presidio stages). Attending 40,000 to 60,000 participants every day, the first festival is largely successful; However, it was criticized for the lack of crowd control. The festival is also aimed at new green movements and includes a number of initiatives to create eco-friendly festivals, such as inviting participants to use public transportation to get to events via Muni. The second edition of the festival was held between 28 and 30 August 2009, and was broadcast live on YouTube through a YouTube festival account. The festival is produced by Another Planet Entertainment, Superfly Presents, and Starr Hill Presents.

Outside Lands also features attractions that focus on food, wine, and art. There is a section of the wine festival that allows people to buy tickets and taste the wines from many different vendors. There is also an area that offers separate entertainment, including a gym, arcade/bar, and various food and art dealers.
