White Music was the first studio album by the English band XTC, released on January 20, 1978. It was a follow-up to their debut, EP 3D , released three months earlier. White Music reached No. 38 on the UK album charts and spawned a single "Statue of Liberty", banned by the BBC for the lyrics "In my fantasy, I sail under your skirt". In April 1978, the group re-recorded "This Is Pop" as their third single.
